Sakae Teppanyaki Lobster Set!

Recently went to Changi Airport T2 for dinner.It's not my first time at Sakae Teppanyaki for our Lobster Set for 2!I should say i really like to watch the Teppanyaki chef cook on the spot,to show off their culinary skills in front of us!It's really appealing when u see your food being cooked on the teppan and it really smell so nice!

Firstly,the cold dish have a sweet and sour feel which makes it appetizing to eat!vegetables was fresh and crunchy too!I Love the Fried rice very much!When u eat it,u will like the flavor of the rice and shrimp blend together!Heavenly!!!Makes me want to eat it again soon!Chicken was cover with japanese sauce which is tender to chew!Those who love bean sprouts,its a must try too!It's well cooked with sauce and you feel the flavour of the teppan in the bean sprouts!I personally like it!

Toufu was yummy as it was soft and really melts in your mouth.Really all fresh ingredients combined into this whole set!Not to forget the Main Dish LOBSTER!Really mouthwatering when u see it cooking!The Chef prepare it in different ways by using different parts of the lobster!Soup was one of it!The back of the lobster was used to blend with miso.Meat was not much as its used to add on with miso to served as a soup based!The crawl of the Lobster was cracked by the Chef so that its easy for us to enjoy the meat inside it!The meat was really sweet and fresh which goes well with the rice together!The centre part of the meat was cook with Teppan and mixed with some wine!Chef also was impressive as he demonstrate he can control the fire well when he cooked!

The dessert was just a mochi with ice cream inside it!It taste sweet and blends well with the vanilla ice cream and taste rich in flavor!Too bad,they just offer a piece for each person!After complete the cooking,the chef will greet and thanks us for patronise the restaurant!Really thumbs Up for their good service ethics!

I will Highly recommend everyone to go for the Lobster Set for 2!It's really worth the value!

Arnold's Fried Chicken!

For a local Fried chicken restaurant who prolong over 26years it's really a major achievement!Times change but they do stick with their emphasis on freshness on their chicken which really make everyone Happy!

They are open from 11.30am till 10pm daily at CIty Plaza.With 2 other outlets Hougang Green Shopping Mall and Pasir Ris Town Park.But,be prepared to wait at least a hour or so for weekends as the crowd keep coming non-stop For the BEST CHICKEN in Singapore!

I straight away order the Combo Meal Set A for 2 person!Meals include 5pieces of chickens,2 cups of pepsi,1bowl of Potato Fries,1bowl of coleslaws!Total damage-$22.40nett!Those who are hungry can go for whole chicken set at $10.60 serve with fries and coleslaws!(exclude drinks).

I was surprise how different the chicken taste when i put it in my mouth!So mouth-watering!The chicken is really tender and juicy with some kind of speical spice in it!The best thing about the chicken is that,i can continue eating 3 pieces without feeling too oily!Freshly cooked & deep fried till its tender when u place your order at the counter!No doubts its the Best Chicken in TOWN!Fries was crispy and crunchy too!I like coleslaws as its not watery and fresh to balance the chicken taste! I will make sure i will visited twice a month!As,I'm becoming more heavier than usual so,i have to control my diet from now on!hee... =P I definitely will visit them again!Cheers!

Chinatown Stingray!My Favourite!

Enough of restaurants introductions!For now, i will recommend some local food which all Singaporeans in LOVE!Stingray! Sounds scary???Actually not really! It really taste appealing that u would eat it once a week!Those who love spicy food,please noted down the address and enjoy this local dish!

If u are going on weekends,please be there around 5pm as they start their business during dinner hours!Location will be at Chinatown Complex Food Centre. Located at Level 2,Beside #02-198(which is Beside the Famous Claypot A Stall called Chang Ji BBQ Cooked Food!


Highly recommended Food,Stingray-$8sgd,Sotong-$8sgd and Oil vegetable-$3sgd!2bowl of white rice $0.30cents!I suppose 3people can share these few dishes and enjoy the food very much!

Above its the Oil vegetables-7/10!It taste crunchy and delicious!

Above its the Sotong:8/10!It's bigger than other stalls in Singapore!Its Sambal chilli really is Hot and spicy!

Above is the Stingray 9/10!Best served with the Sambal chilli and rice!Fantanstic!

Dian Xiao Er!My favourite Ducky!

All local like me sure went to this Chinese restaurant Dian Xiao Er!Winning the Singapore Prestige Brand Award for the 2007,really draws alot of locals & tourists to pay them a visit to try their food!Their Herbal Roast Duck its a Must try to those who have never try their food before!Their Herbal Roast Duck taste tender and juicy with the overwhelming fragrance of the herbs.It's makes me difficult to resist to taste such a heavenly food!I will always make sure i order it everytime i visit them!

Some Nutritional facts of the Duck are as follow:

Lean Duck has 25% more protein than other poultry like chicken,quails and turkeys.

High in Vitamin B - Help metabolism

High in Vitatmin E -Help slows ageing

Low in Saturated Fat

Reduce body heat

Makes the body and mind stronger as a whole!

My 2nd Favourite Dish will be Dong Po Pork.Juicy and tasty which is so perfect that the Pork makes you feel that it melts in your mouth so easily.Soup of the day was ok without the help of MSG really makes u enjoyable to drink!Baby Kai-Lan w/ Salted Fish & Lime was cruchy and pleasing.Think most of the people should like it very much!Besides that,a hidden gem,HongKong Style Steamed Fish Slices is really nice seasoned and flavour while eating it with rice!Another dish i would recommend will be Braised Assorted Mushroom w/ Broccoli as it taste delicious and mouth watering!The Mushroom & the Broccoli balance the texture of the dish and the feeling was like eating abalone!Try it!

Japanese Food in a FUN WAY!

If u think Japanese food is boring,think it again!U can have fun eating in a casual way with no-frills!Sho Teppan offer both Teppanyaki and Sukiyaki under One roof!!!

I always manage to bring my girlfriend when they offer 1 for 1 promotions.(Time from 3.30pm to 6.30 everyday exclude public holidays)

Normally we will order Wagyu Beef as its really fresh and the beef its really tender when u eat it with Japanese rice!But,recently,i decide to try the Black Angus Beef Sukiyaki which i feel it taste great as Wagyu beef with a better value in cost!

There are 2 outlets in Singapore.Services are good for both outlets.They serve Wagyu beef,Kurobuta,Premium Black Angus,Pork loin and Seafood.Hope u can dropby and try this special concept restaurant when u can cook at your own pace!The soup base is really nice and you can ask the friendly server to top up the soup for you!Each serving of meat is about 150g per portion which really worth every dollar paid!

Saizeriya Budget Value Restaurant???

Singaporeans likes to eat!That includes ME!Now in my early 30s,I still manage to get great and good cheap food in Singapore for the past 32 years!I hope i can contribute my bits to all by sharing all Singapore cheap and good food to my readers!Regardless it's a restaurant or hawker centre,i will try to bring more info for tourists who is intending to get good & cheap food in Singapore!As I always believe,sharing good information to others is a good deed!

Recently,I went to this restaurant in Liang Court Shopping Centre called Saizeriya at #02-22.It's not my first time there,but i really in love with the food at first sight ever since i have been there!Brief information about this restaurant  is a Japanese chain of Italian family-style restaurants which serves cheap & good western,European and italian food at cheap price!U will be surprise,when u pay your bills at the counter!The food and ambiance is so good,which makes me feel that they undercharging me! =P


I will highly recommend these food on their Menu:
